Harbro Limited is a Scottish family-owned animal nutrition and agricultural supplies company founded in 1949 and headquartered in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. The company manufactures compound feeds, blended feeds, mineral and vitamin supplements, and speciality nutrition products for dairy cows, beef cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry at production facilities in Aberdeenshire and Angus. Product ranges include Harbro mineralised buckets and blocks (free-access supplementation for grazing ruminants), Super Cattle Cake (high-energy compound), Harbro Sheep Nuts, and tailored poultry grower and layer feeds. Harbro also supplies farm inputs including fertilisers, agrochemical and veterinary products through its merchant division, making it a full-service agricultural supplier to farms across Scotland and northern England. The company employs approximately 200 people and operates a fleet of own-delivery vehicles covering the UK. Wholesale supply relationships exist with agricultural merchants, co-operatives and farm buying groups. Harbro's independent ownership enables fast formulation response to raw material price movements and regional nutritional requirements specific to high-rainfall and extensive Scottish farming systems.
