HM.CLAUSE is the global vegetable seed division of the Limagrain Group, formed in 2006 from the merger of Harris Moran (United States) and Clause (France). The company develops and commercialises hybrid vegetable varieties across tomato, pepper, melon, watermelon, sweet corn, carrot, lettuce, cucumber, squash and onion, with breeding stations in France, the United States, Mexico, Spain, Chile, Zambia and Thailand. French operations at Portes-les-Valence focus on European and North African markets, while a global commercial centre in Davis, California serves North American accounts. Distribution is conducted through HM.CLAUSE commercial teams and authorised seed distributor networks in more than 60 countries. Customers include large greenhouse operators, open-field vegetable growers, transplant nurseries and cooperative producer associations. The company is recognised in the tomato segment for varieties combining disease resistance (Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus, Fusarium, Verticillium) with commercial fruit specifications relevant to fresh market and processing buyers. As part of Limagrain, HM.CLAUSE benefits from shared genomics infrastructure and cross-segment crop protection research.
