Groupe Amor Benamor was founded in 1984 in the El Fedjoudj industrial zone, Guelma, and has grown into one of Algeria's top three industrial pasta and couscous producers. The group operates six factories producing couscous, semolina pastas, tomato concentrate, sauces, pickled vegetables, and spices. Benamor exports its flagship couscous and pasta brands primarily to France and Italy, and is expanding into Germany and North African markets.
