Saidal Group was created in 1982 following the restructuring of the Algerian Central Pharmacy and is the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in Algeria and one of the largest in Africa. The company develops, manufactures, and markets more than 200 generic drugs across nine production plants in Algiers, Médéa, Constantine, Annaba, and Batna. Saidal exports to 15 African countries including Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, and the DRC, and is targeting 10% of revenue from exports.
