L'azienda A&D è stata fondata nel 1994 dagli amministratori delegati Franz Ahr e Franz Dehm, da cui è nata anche la denominazione A&D. Entrambi vantano oltre 30 anni di esperienza nella costruzione di macchine confezionatrici termoformatrici, che portano in azienda. Oggi l'azienda è passata con successo alla seconda generazione con Holger Ahr e Sven Jonasson.
