概要
Qatar Aluminium (Qatalum) is a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Norsk Hydro, operating one of the largest primary aluminium smelters in the world at Mesaieed Industrial City with over 600,000 tonnes annual output. The facility includes a carbon plant, reduction plant, cast house, and captive power plant, producing standard and value-added aluminium ingots, extrusion billets, and rolling slabs. Products are exported globally to automotive, construction, engineering, and consumer goods industries.
