E. Wedel is de oudste en meest erkende zoetwarenfabrikant van Polen en produceert chocolaatjes, pralines en de legendarische Ptasie Mleczko-heemstsnoepjes. Het bedrijf exporteert naar bijna 60 landen en exploiteert naast de groothandel een eigen caféketen. Opgericht door Karl Ernst Wedel in Warschau, blijft het een vlaggenschip voor de Poolse voedselexport.
