Celem projektu GREEN RAY jest zminimalizowanie wycieku metanu ze statków przewożących skroplony gaz ziemny (LNG), aby umożliwić czysty transport wodny. Opracowując trzy innowacyjne technologie silników LNG, które można instalować na nowych i istniejących statkach, projekt GREEN RAY pracuje nad zmniejszeniem negatywnego wpływu transportu wodnego oraz ochroną zdrowia ludzi i środowiska.
