Biography Akram Khan received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, India. He completed his internal medicine and critical care training at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, pulmonary fellowship at the University Of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and sleep medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is an associate professor in the division of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. He is board certified in critical care, pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. Clinically he focuses on taking care of patients in the intensive care unit.
