تأسست شركة البحرين لسحب الألمنيوم (بلكسكو) في عام 1977 كأول مصنع لسحب الألمنيوم في الخليج العربي ورابع أكبر شركة لسحب الألمنيوم في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. تقوم الشركة بتصنيع إطارات النوافذ المعمارية، ومقاطع الأبواب، والشبكات، وأعمدة العلم، وأعمدة الإنارة، وتصدر 70% من إنتاجها السنوي البالغ 32,000 طن إلى أسواق دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والأسواق العربية. يتعامل مركز التصنيع الخاص التابع لها مع عناصر الألومنيوم المعمارية المخصصة لمشاريع البناء على المستوى الإقليمي.
