COTONTOG (Société Togolaise du Coton) is Togo's primary cotton sector organization overseeing the ginning and export of cotton fiber produced in the country's cotton belt in the Savanes and Kara regions. The company ginns raw cotton into lint for export to Asian textile manufacturers and European traders, while cottonseed oil is processed domestically.
