Arab Potash Company was formed in 1956 and holds an exclusive 100-year government concession to extract, manufacture, and market minerals from the Dead Sea. As the 8th largest potash producer globally, APC operates four plants producing granular and standard potash, potassium nitrate fertiliser, and calcium pyrophosphate. Its principal export markets are India, China, and Malaysia, supplying the agricultural and fertiliser industries on five continents.
