About
Azerkhalcha, established in 1927 and restructured as a joint-stock company in 2016, is the national centre for handmade Azerbaijani carpet production. Around 500 female artisans work across 14 regional studios producing Garabagh, Guba-Shirvan, and Tabriz collection carpets. Products are exported to China, Korea, Russia, and the Gulf, and sold at flagship galleries in Baku's Old City and Heydar Aliyev Airport.
