Brunei Fertilizer Industries operates a world-scale urea and ammonia fertilizer plant at the SPARK industrial zone in Sungai Liang, producing 1.2 million tonnes per year of urea for export to Southeast Asian agricultural markets. BFI uses Brunei's natural gas feedstock and is a joint venture with Koch Fertilizer.
