Wahaka Mezcal was founded in 2008 in San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca, by the fourth-generation maestro mezcalero Alberto Morales López, producing traditionally crafted mezcals from espadín, tobalá, tepeztate, and wild agave species.
