Since 1985, the Alonso family, based in Lleida (Catalonia), has been a pioneer in Spain in the common reed sector (Arundo Donax). Cañizos Alpe S.L. was founded in that same year and is currently run by the second generation, continuing the family legacy. We specialize in the production of music reeds for saxophone, clarinet, and oboe, with an annual production of 1,500,000 units. We travel throughout Spain in search of the best raw materials, carefully assessing cutting areas to ensure the highest quality.
