Coopedota R.L. is a Costa Rican coffee cooperative founded in 1960 in Santa María de Dota at 1,700 metres in the Tarrazú region, bringing together over 800 small-farmer members. In 2011 it became the world's first carbon-neutral certified coffee producer, measured and verified under INTE ISO 14064. The cooperative exports green and roasted specialty coffee to importer-roasters in North America, Japan, and Europe, with Fairtrade and USDA Organic certification supporting premium wholesale pricing.
