Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) was established in 1981 as the first downstream aluminium flat-rolling facility in the Middle East, jointly owned by the governments of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, and Qatar. The company produces 165,000 tonnes per year of aluminium sheets, coils, and foil products, exported to over 2,000 customers in 45+ countries across Australia, Europe, Asia, and North America. Its annual turnover exceeds US$450 million.
