Within 20 minutes, the GENSPEED COVID-19 IgG xPOC test delivers laboratory-quality results, as was impressively shown in a study by the medical faculty of the Johannes Kepler University Linz with a sensitivity of 100% compared to six laboratory ELISA methods Journal of Clinical Virology. The concentration of neutralizing antibodies (against full spike protein and receptor binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2 virus) is reported quantitatively in binding antibody units per milliliter and can provide information about the strength of the existing immune protection. At the same time, the test determines whether antibodies against the nucleoprotein of the virus are present in the blood and thus provides information as to whether the test subject was in contact with the natural virus.
