Tapio log product
Tapion Hirsituote Ky is a wood company founded in 2004. Our products include Hand-carved log furniture and buildings as well as hidden interior and terrace logs. We also deliver special sawn goods to order. All our products are made by hand, respecting the traditional values of wood construction, and using modern, efficient tools. We constantly strive to develop our products and working methods so that we can serve our customers even better. We have always invested more in quality than quantity, and we will stay on this path in the future as well. My company does not have regular opening hours. Customer visits should always be arranged in advance so that I know to be there.

What is established and what is not
No researcher review has been written for this company yet. 4 official records from 1 official source are on file. 4 other entries are not official records: our own technical checks and searches, open directory listings, our inferences or the company's own statements. Everything is listed below with its evidence type: each entry confirms only what it literally says; none of them is a review. Nothing here confirms manufacturing, ownership or trading status beyond what each record literally says.
Facts on file, each with its evidence type
- Business email on the company's own domain (record type: corporate-mail-on-domain) [our own observation, not an official record; status green] Shows the domain runs its own email rather than a free mailbox. It describes the domain, not who owns it. checked 2026-08-22. Mail server of the company domain
- Website domain registered (record type: domain-registered) [our own observation, not an official record; status green] Shows how long this web address has been registered. That is the age of the domain, not of the company: a domain can change owners. checked 2026-08-22. Domain registry record
- No match found in the debarment registers we checked (record type: debarment-clear) [our own observation, not an official record; name search, no matching candidate] We searched the public debarment datasets and found no matching candidate. Absence from these lists is a search result, not a certificate. checked 2026-08-22. OpenSanctions
- No match found on the sanctions lists we checked (record type: sanctions-clear) [our own observation, not an official record; name search, no matching candidate] We searched the public sanctions datasets and found no matching candidate. A name search is not full compliance screening. checked 2026-08-22. OpenSanctions
- Registry ID checks out with the state register (record type: registry-id-verified) [official record; status green] Helps confirm the company on this page is the same legal entity as in the register. checked 2026-10-16. Finnish Patent and Registration Office, Trade Register (PRH/YTJ open data)
- Line of business as recorded in the state register: Manufacture of furniture (record type: registry-activity) [official record; status green] Line of business as recorded in the state register: Manufacture of furniture. Shows what the state itself says the company does, which you can compare with what it promises you. checked 2026-10-16. Finnish Patent and Registration Office, Trade Register (PRH/YTJ open data)
- Street address on file in the state register (record type: registered-address) [official record; status green] Registered address: Pätärinkuja 8, 54510 Uro. The address the company itself gave the register, so post and inspectors reach it there. checked 2026-08-14. Finnish Patent and Registration Office, Trade Register (PRH/YTJ open data)
- Legally registered and still active (record type: registry-active-global) [official record; status green] Shows the register lists the registration as active on the date we read it. It does not show how busy the business is. checked 2026-10-16. Finnish Patent and Registration Office, Trade Register (PRH/YTJ open data)
Relationships
1 relationship(s) on file. Each line names the other party, the relationship as its source records it, and the source. A record of a relationship is not a finding about control beyond what it literally says.

Import rules for these goods
- Upcoming, not yet applicable on 2026-10-22: If the goods are made of wood, placing them on the EU market falls under the Deforestation Regulation (EUDR): the operator files a due-diligence statement with geolocation of the wood's origin; furniture not made of wood is outside it. The EU Deforestation Regulation applies to large and medium operators from 30 December 2026 and to micro and small operators from 30 June 2027; due-diligence intensity depends on the risk level the Commission assigns to the country of production. European Commission (EUDR)
- Consumer goods sold in the EU fall under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR, applies since 13 Dec 2024): a responsible person in the EU is mandatory. EUR-Lex: Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR)
