Zigante Tartufi, founded in 1997 in Buzet, is Croatia's most famous truffle company, named after Giancarlo Zigante who found the world's largest white truffle in 1999. The company produces fresh, frozen, and jarred Istrian white and black truffles and truffle-infused olive oils, sauces, and pastes. Exports to specialty food importers in Europe, the US, and Japan.
