Impala Platinum (Implats) is one of the world's largest platinum group metals (PGMs) producers, mining platinum, palladium, rhodium, and other PGMs from the Bushveld Complex at Impala Rustenburg, Marula, and Zimplats (Zimbabwe), and smelting and refining the metals at its Springs precious-metals refinery. JSE-listed, the company produces refined platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, and ruthenium sold to automotive catalytic converter manufacturers, electronics companies, and investment buyers globally. Impala Platinum's Rustenburg operation is one of the world's largest underground platinum mines.
