Fukagawa Seiji, founded in Arita, Saga, in 1894, produces hand-crafted blue-and-white Arita ware porcelain tableware and decorative pieces. The company won the Grand Prize at the 1900 Paris Exposition and holds an Imperial Household designation (宮内庁御用達). All pieces are manufactured in-house from raw materials in Arita. Widely exported to Europe and the US.
