Hakkaisan Brewery, based in Minamiuonuma, Niigata, is one of Japan's most export-active premium sake producers. Their flagship Hakkaisan junmai daiginjo is brewed with snowmelt water and Niigata-grown rice. The brewery celebrated its 100th anniversary and exports to the US, Europe, and Asia.
