We know that transporting our products by air is ecologically problematic due to the high carbon dioxide emissions. However, for our farmers in Uganda and neighboring western Tanzania there is no other option to bring their products to the European market. Transporting the fruit overland to the coast is complicated and time-consuming, and actually impossible for fresh fruit. Our farmers would have no chance on the market. That's why we decided on air transport for the benefit of our farmers.
