Kuwait Flour Mills & Bakeries Company is a state-owned industrial group established in 1961 to secure Kuwait's food supply, and merged with the Kuwaiti Bakeries Company in 1988. Operating one of the largest milling complexes in the Gulf with 3,000 tonnes daily milling capacity and 375,000 tonnes of port storage, it produces wheat flour, pasta (Al-Joud brand), biscuits, bread, vegetable oils, and gluten-free bakery products. The company exports Al-Joud macaroni and specialty flour to GCC and regional markets.
