Novus International is an animal nutrition company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, founded in 1991 as a joint venture of Monsanto and the Thai conglomerate Charoen Pokphand, and now wholly owned by Charoen Pokphand Group. Novus produces and sells a diverse portfolio of speciality nutrition ingredients including MINTREX chelated trace minerals (zinc, copper, manganese bound to bis-hydroxy methionine for enhanced bioavailability), CIMICOOL betaine for osmoregulation and performance in heat-stressed livestock, ACTIVATE organic acid blends for gut health and pathogen control, and METHA-1000 liquid methionine.
