Pivovar Svijany has brewed beer in the Liberec region of northern Bohemia since 1564, making it one of the oldest continuously operating Czech breweries. The SVIJANY brand is produced from water from the brewery's own wells, malt from Czech and Moravian malthouses and Saaz hops from company-owned hop gardens. The brewery produces a range of unpasteurised lagers and exports to Germany, Poland and Slovakia.
