Press Agriculture, operating primarily through Limbe Leaf Tobacco Company, is Malawi's largest tobacco leaf processor and a Press Corporation subsidiary, buying, threshing, conditioning, and packing flue-cured and burley tobacco for export to cigarette manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and North America. Malawi is one of the world's most tobacco-dependent economies, and Limbe Leaf processes a major share of national tobacco output. The company contracts with hundreds of thousands of smallholder and estate farmers across the Central and Northern Regions.
