Sameer Africa is Kenya's dominant tyre manufacturer, assembling Yana brand truck, bus, and passenger car tyres under licence from Giti Tire at its manufacturing plant in the Sameer Industrial Park, Nairobi. Listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, the company also distributes international tyre brands and runs a network of tyre-fitting centres across East Africa. Sameer Africa's Yana Tyres are standard fitment on many Kenyan public-service vehicles and long-haul trucks.
