SIR is the sole petroleum refinery in Côte d'Ivoire, processing crude oil into fuels, lubricants, bitumen, and petrochemical feedstocks for domestic consumption and export to landlocked West African states. The Abidjan refinery has a throughput of around 3.5 million tonnes per year and supplies lubricant base oils and industrial solvents to manufacturing customers throughout the region.
