Tanzania Cigarette Company is the sole cigarette manufacturer in Tanzania, a JT International (Japan Tobacco Group) subsidiary producing cigarette brands including Embassy, Sportsman, and Portsman for the domestic and East African regional market. TCC operates a blending and manufacturing facility in Dar es Salaam and sources Tanzanian flue-cured tobacco from the Tabora and Iringa leaf-growing regions. The company is listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
