Tegel Foods is New Zealand's largest poultry producer, processing and marketing fresh, frozen, and value-added chicken and turkey products for retail, food-service, and export markets. The company owns an integrated supply chain from breeder flocks, hatcheries, and contracted grow-out farms through to five processing and further-processing plants across the North and South Islands. Tegel produces more than 90 million kilograms of poultry per year and supplies New Zealand's major supermarket chains, quick-service restaurants, and food-service distributors under the Tegel and Just Chicken brands.
