Westland Milk Products is a New Zealand dairy manufacturer owned by Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group, processing milk from West Coast, South Island farms into whole-milk powder, skim-milk powder, butter, cream powder, and specialty dairy ingredients at its Hokitika plant. The company collects from more than 400 West Coast dairy farms, processing approximately 700 million litres of milk per year, and exports bulk dairy commodity and value-added ingredients primarily to China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East under its parent company's supply-chain arrangements. Westland is one of New Zealand's most remote dairy-processing operations, serving the pastoral farming communities of the Southern Alps coastline.
