Founded in Nihonbashi, Tokyo in 1690, Yamamotoyama is Japan's oldest continuously operating tea and seaweed company. The company established Yamamotoyama Brazil in 1970 and Yamamotoyama USA in Los Angeles in 1975, distributing premium nori and green tea to Japanese restaurants and grocery retailers across the Americas, Oceania, and Europe.
