Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU) represents over 46,000 smallholder farmers across 28 member cooperatives in Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone. The union produces, processes, and exports washed and sun-dried Yirgacheffe arabica with full organic and Fairtrade certifications, and is the sole source of the protected Yirgacheffe appellation.
