Heiveld Rooibos Cooperative, founded in 2001 in the Cederberg mountains of the Northern Cape, is an organic and fair-trade rooibos tea producer. The cooperative grows rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) on family farms in the wild-growing Cederberg highlands, the only region where rooibos grows naturally. Exports to organic tea retailers and specialty importers in Europe, the US, and Japan.
