Nachdem sie bei einem Unfall über 150 Stiche im Gesicht erlitten hatte, suchte Relebohile Moeng, eine GIBS-Absolventin mit einem Master-Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaft, nach günstigeren Lösungen, um ihre Narben zu heilen, und kaltgepresstes Arganöl brachte Ergebnisse. Nach ihrer Kündigung von der Arbeit beschlossen Moeng und ihr Ehemann Fabian, der einen BCOMPT-Abschluss in Buchhaltungswissenschaften besitzt, etwas Forschung über organische Haut- und Haarprodukte zu betreiben, was zur Gründung ihres Unternehmens in führte 2011 (Afri-Berry). Diese innovativen Philanthropen leiten eine mehrfach preisgekrönte Kosmetikmarke zur Stärkung von Jugendlichen und Frauen - Afri-Berry - mit Sitz in der Stadt Tshwane.
