Filatura Bertoglio Italo s.a.s. wurde 1946 von Herrn Italo in einem Gebäude am Bach Cervo in Biella gegründet. 1961 zog es in das Industriegebiet Maglioleo, wo es sich noch heute befindet. Seit 70 Jahren arbeitet die Familie daran, dass das Unternehmen eine schrittweise, aber konstante Steigerung der Produktionskapazität erfährt, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Produktqualität gemäß den sehr hohen Standards des echten „Made in Italy“. Selbst in den letzten Jahren, die von einem allgemeinen Investitionsstopp geprägt waren, hat Filatura Cardata Bertoglio ein neues Werk eröffnet, um die Produktion besser zu rationalisieren und alle Arten traditioneller Streichgarne herzustellen.
