Seit Anfang der 1970er Jahre entwickelt und produziert der Automobilzulieferer ClimAir Regen- und Windabweiser für Autoseitenfenster und Sonnendächer. Schon damals war die Firma att ClimAir PLAVA Kunststoffe GmbH - Ein Unternehmen „made in Germany“. Internationaler Erfolg mit Sicherheit, Komfort und Aerodynamik. Das Unternehmen mit Sitz in Okarben, Deutschland, wurde bereits 1970 von seinem heutigen Geschäftsführer Guido Hommel gegründet. Damals als „G. Hommel Kunststoffe“ bekannt, benannte sich das Unternehmen 1978 schließlich in ClimAir PLAVA Kunststoffe GmbH um, ein Name, der weltweit bekannt wurde.
