Wawhite es un polvo blanco con partículas esféricas, de alta adsorción de aceite y promotor del efecto mate, deslizamiento y acabado de piel suave y aterciopelada son algunas de sus propiedades. Se deriva de la palmera babasú, una especie nativa de Brasil que se encuentra abundantemente en las regiones norte y noreste del país. Wawhite es generalmente reconocido como uno de los sustitutos naturales más eficaces de los microplásticos (PPMA) en formulaciones cosméticas y muchos clientes globales lo están probando en anticipación de próximas convenciones internacionales que impedirán la adopción de PPMA en productos cosméticos. El Anexo XV (ECHA) así como el Reglamento N1233/2009 indican la interrupción del uso de PPMA en productos cosméticos a más tardar en 2028.
