Wahaka Mezcal fue fundado en 2008 en San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca, por el maestro mezcalero de cuarta generación Alberto Morales López, produciendo mezcales elaborados tradicionalmente a partir de especies de espadín, tobalá, tepeztate y agave silvestre. Los productos se exportan a importadores de bebidas espirituosas especiales en América del Norte y Europa.
