Filatura Bertoglio Italo s.a.s. fue fundada por el Sr. Italo en 1946 en un edificio junto al arroyo Cervo en Biella. En 1961 se trasladó al polígono industrial Maglioleo donde aún se encuentra. Desde hace 70 años, la familia trabaja para que la empresa experimente un aumento gradual pero constante de la capacidad de producción, con especial atención a la mejora continua de la calidad del producto según los altísimos estándares del verdadero "Made in Italy". Incluso en los últimos años, caracterizados por una congelación general de las inversiones, Filatura Cardata Bertoglio ha abierto una nueva planta para racionalizar mejor la producción para producir todo tipo de hilo cardado tradicional.
