Hacienda Selva Negra es una finca de la biosfera de 1.400 hectáreas y una de las productoras de café especial más antiguas y prestigiosas de Nicaragua. A una altura de 1200 a 1600 m en el bosque nuboso de Matagalpa, Selva Negra cultiva Bourbon, Caturra y Typica arabicas cultivados a la sombra bajo plátanos y árboles nativos. Los productos incluyen café verde lavado y procesado con miel y café tostado orgánico certificado. Vendido a tostadores especializados en EE. UU., Alemania y Japón. Puntajes de copa: 85-88.
