Dans le processus de commercialisation du MIEL, il existe des contrôles obligatoires qui garantissent la qualité du produit dans la chaîne d'approvisionnement. Pour les exportations de l'Uruguay, le LATU (Laboratoire Technologique Uruguayen) délivre des certificats de qualité à chaque lot de miel exporté attestant qu'il n'a pas été frelaté (avec du sucre) et qu'il répond aux paramètres d'humidité requis. Il s'agit de contrôles physico-chimiques qui déterminent si le miel est conforme à la classification requise par l'Uruguay pour pouvoir être exporté. Chez APISUR, nous respectons également les normes de certification telles que HACCP, Organic, True Source et Fairtrade.
