Wawhite è una polvere bianca con particelle sferiche, ad alto assorbimento di olio e promotrice dell'effetto opacizzante, finitura cutanea morbida e scorrevole sono alcune delle sue proprietà. Deriva dalla palma Babassu, una specie autoctona brasiliana diffusa in abbondanza nelle regioni settentrionali e nordorientali del paese. Wawhite è generalmente riconosciuto come uno dei sostituti naturali più efficaci delle microplastiche (PPMA) nelle formulazioni cosmetiche e viene testato da molti clienti globali in previsione delle prossime convenzioni internazionali che impediscono l'adozione del PPMA nei prodotti cosmetici. Il Reach Annex XV (ECHA) e il Regolamento N1233/2009 indicano la sospensione del PPMA nei prodotti cosmetici entro il 2028, al più tardi.
