Located on the volcanic hills of the Astroni nature reserve, in the historic area of Campi Flegrei, the Moccia agricultural company has been passionately dedicated to viticulture for over forty years. An accurate recovery plan, started in 1960 by the founder Gennaro Moccia, is carried out with equal enthusiasm by his son Raffaele who, to follow the company closely, gave up his freelance profession as an agrotechnician, allowing the wine resources of this area to be fully exploited. The Moccia vineyards are located on the hills of the Astroni di Agnano nature reserve where the particular slope of the hill, with terrace arrangement, allows only manual management of the same, based on continuous modeling of the soil, thus guaranteeing the right water supply
