Calzutirificio Soldini の歴史は、1945 年にアレッツォ県の小さな町カポローナで始まり、現在も同社の中心地がそこにあります。グスタボ・ソルディーニは、兄弟のジュゼッペとエルメネジルドとともに、父親の死後、「フラテッリ・ソルディーニ」という会社の靴研究所を引き継ぎ、アレッツォとフィレンツェの地元市場向けに男性用と女性用の靴を作る純粋に職人的なビジネスを開始しました。 1950 年代には、事業の発展に伴い、最初の工場がアルノ川のほとりのカポローナに開設され、続いてアンギアーリに 2 つ目の工場が開設され、職人生産から工業生産への移行を示し、800 人以上の従業員を雇用しました。イタリア経済ブームが始まった時代です。
