Hikma Pharmaceuticals was founded in 1978 in Amman and has grown into the largest pharmaceutical company in the MENA region, operating 29 manufacturing plants across 10 countries with an 800+ product portfolio spanning injectable, oral, and branded generic medicines. In Jordan, Hikma runs four plants covering general formulation, cephalosporins, penicillin, and oncology, all inspected by the US FDA. The company distributes to approximately 50 countries including major markets in North America, Europe, and across MENA.
