北オカナガン渓谷落穂拾い協会は、世界の飢餓の問題と、オカナガン渓谷には食料が豊富にあるという事実を痛感した個人のグループによって設立されました。残念なことに、地元で生産される食料の多くは無駄になってしまいます。これらの落ち穂を利用して、他国の飢えた人々に食料を与えたいという願望が、彼らに何かをするという確信を与えました。配布は、提携している信頼できる確立されたキリスト教援助団体によって行われます。
